Dinner at La Maison 1888

During our stay at Intercontinental Danang, for those who missed our post, please refer here for details of our trip! We manage to try their famous French restaurant La Maison 1888. During our stay of 4 days 3 night here, we were fortunate to try it during our last night as both the nights before were fully booked. We were so tempted to try lunch instead if we can't get the final night booking too.

For those who doesn't know much about this restaurant, La Maison 1888 features a Michelin Star Chef Michel Roux. Currently, it is home to the world renowned three Michelin Star Chef Pierre Gagnaire. This restaurant were crowned as "World's Leading Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant 2017" by World Travel Awards.

With these status and award, the restaurant has some ground rules in regards to dress code.
Dress Code: Smart Elegant
"Gentlemen are required to wear long pants and collared shirt and should not wear open-toed shoes. Although advised, jacket is not compulsory. Dresses, skirts or trousers are recommended for ladies. Please be advised that tank tops, shorts, jeans, slippers and hats/caps are not permitted in the restaurant."

Operating Hours:
Lunch - 12:00pm to 2:00pm (Friday and Saturday only)
Dinner - 6:30pm to 10:00pm (Everyday)

You can also refer here for their Lunch Menu and Dinner Menu.

Dinner always starts with fresh bread which the waiter will come to you with variety of bread.

I decided to go for fish as my wife would go for steak.

The Salmon is really fresh and it comes with mash potato and some fresh vegetables. I would say it's a good choice! Part it with a cup of champagne and it's just perfect.

The restaurant were so kind that they gave us a free dessert for our stay.

Lovely cake just nice to close for the meal of the night. Was so full that we went to the beach to have a walk. Looking at the stars in the sky and and breezy wind blows through my hair. This is indeed paradise.

I WILL BE BACK!

Nintendo Switch Online Membership

I am sure most of us have heard about Nintendo Switch. For those who does not know what is that, I have added a photo of the console below.
Unlike other consoles, the Switch offers three gameplay modes. The first is plugged into your TV. This TV mode is similar to other consoles and is probably the least surprising. The second mode is handheld mode. The user slides controllers into the side of their Switch and it then becomes usable as a mobile gaming device. The third is tabletop mode. The console itself acts as the screen, just like in handheld mode, but the players use controllers that are separated from the console, like in TV mode. This is for using the console as a multiplayer system on the go.

Recently, Nintendo just launch their Nintendo Switch Online Membership. Of course the main purpose of this membership are:
- Cloud save backup system
- Access to 20 classic NES games
- Online multiplayer

Some of the classic NES games are Ghosts ’n Goblins, Excitebike, Tecmo Bowl, Yoshi, Double Dragon, Gradius, Ice Hockey, River City Ransom, Pro Wrestling, Baseball and etc.

Getting excited and wanted to know the plan and prices for the membership?

Nintendo Switch Online memberships will cost US$4 for a single month, US$8 for three months, and US$20 for a full year. A US$35 yearly “family membership” is also available, giving up to eight users access to online play across multiple systems. That is like almost 75% cheaper!

All you need to do is to add your family and link them together into your Nintendo account. All you have to do is head over to the Family Group page on your Nintendo account. Once you are there you can add all members you are going to want on the online plan.

Comment below and let me know what you think about the new ONLINE function!
